Question: I am getting "Deadlocked on lock" error during ingest. Why? What can be dane to fix the error?
Answer: This is an intermittent technical issue caused by multiple processes trying to access a shared resource at the same time. Every time an issue like this occurs a technical team receives an automated alert to investigate the case.
Luckily there is a very good chance the file will be ingested correctly if it is submitted again. This is because resources which have been previously locked should be again available after few minutes. The correct action to address the issue is to simply submit the file to ingest again after 30 min, preferably during off-peak hours.
